No one is going to shout at you. No one is going to make you feel stupid for not knowing something you have never been taught. That is not what this place is.
What you will find is a room full of people at different stages, some have been training for ten years, some started last month, and an environment where the only expectation is that you show up and pay attention.
The early sessions are small and focused. The evening classes have more energy. The open mats on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights are where you find out what you have actually learned that week.
Kev sets the tone and the coaches follow it. Hard work is expected. Ego is not welcome. Those two things together make for a room where people get genuinely good, genuinely fast.
If you have never trained before, the beginners classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings are where you start.
You will not be thrown in at the deep end. You will be shown exactly what to do and why.
